Was looking forward to bringing this wine to an Aussie night of wine and food. Upon pulling the cork the nose had a 'cooked' or 'stewed' character. Left on the counter for 2 days it was a little better than when initially opened. You can tell this wine was once a great wine. There's still finesse and balance there but it just smells and tastes like its on its last legs. Don't know if its a bottle issue or a vintage issue.
