@home with Knut and Bernat As I remembered it, though a bit subdued fresh out of the bottle.
A well-proportioned nose that has a subtle complexity. Slight terpenes, slight TDN (shower curtain/petrol), slight botrytis (honey-saffron-wax). Mineral on the palate, with a touch of RS - I guessed 6-7g (actually 5.5g), and properly high acidity.
Persistent and mineral.

Yellow apple, some honey, good concentration. Comes across as hot-vintage styled (including a bit more off-dry character than I had expected for an "indice 1" = completely dry wine) and surprisingly developed for a 2010; I'd have guessed something like a 2005.

Explodes on the nose with typical Gewürz-notes lite lychee, almond, apricots and some diesel. A lot of alcohol, still well balanced on the palete. Very rich, oily texture with layers of sweet fruit, minerals and botrytis. Tasty now but will last for a long time.

Apples and pineapple on the nose, with a hint of Alsace petrol sneaking underneath. A touch of smoke. Lovely ripe flowers and ripe exotic fruits, pineapple, peach, mango, apricot, and a touch of smoke on the lovely long finish. Still on the young side, will be even better in a few years. Good QPR. Great stuff.
