  Still had bright red fruit on the palate, along with oak and other woody flavors.

  A terrific wine. Slow to open, black fruit and wet leaves. Great finish

  Black cherry/ruby hue; spicy-sweet nose of dark berries; dry and tart, not overly complex; medium-bodied and medium finish. Easy drinking wine

  I don't understand the fascination with this wine. It tastes nothing like Tempranillo. It's just another generic new world red with too much oak and alcohol. No varietal typicity to speak of.
