I found this to be an unusual wine as it had flavors of both ripe tropical fruits, yet high acidity and some strong citrus flavors. On the nose there was pineapple, lime and jasmine. On the palate the pineapple and lime zest flavors detected on the nose were there, but there also was grapefruit. It had green tea on the finish. This is a medium bodied wine with high acidity and a medium finish.

Medium yellow. Barrel, sulfur, only a passing glance at a canned pear in the nose. Fruit is hard to pin down - perhaps tropical but is anyways overshadowed by barrel/lees notes and some bitterness on the finish. Interesting and not a bad value, but don't buy it for fruit.

Lots of contradictions in this wine. Super ripe, baked orchard fruit alongside an abundance of acidity. Rich leesy-ness without buttery malolactic. Seashell minerality, but mushroom earthiness. Compelling, but not typical. Interesting, but maybe not greater than the sum of its parts. A nice value, for sure.

Popped and poured with grilled mahi mahi. Aroma has vanilla and lemon. Taste has more of the lemon to it as it warmed up, but the presence of some oak and vanilla made it not my style.

Decent. Some pear fruit and oak, but dominated by the acid; not buttery. Buy again: Probably not
