Smokey bbq flavors. Dark prunes and figs. Still very fruit forward but with plenty of nuance and complexity. Tannins are pronounced and a bit drying. Nice acidity to keep this fresh and alive.

One of the best Petite Sirah wines I've had. Smooth, black fruits but not monolithic like so many Durifs. Some dried herbs, sweet Oak, and black fruits in waves.

Decanted for 1 hour. Not nearly as monolithic as so many PS's are. In addition to black fruits, some vanilla Oak, dried herbs and hints of spice.

WCC Petite Sirah Blind (Provence Restaurant, Albany, NY): [Double decanted around 11am.] Big woody black fruit nose. Massive wine. Still too young? Needs another decade. Tied for Group #11.

Last one. This bottle held up great.
Still had good fruit and tannins.
Still way overpriced vs Vincent Arroyo.
