Needs time to come together: the whole picture came out 24 hours after opening. Cherry and some earth, with acidity. Lacks a concentrated flavor one will find in a very good Barbera. Not bad, not great.

Aerate or decant for an hour. Well worth the $11 cost. Raisiny and earthy. Typical of Italian, drink with food such as a red sauce. Solid Italian red.

Kind of dusty, lacking in the kind of intensity and concentration found in a Pio Cesarean Barbera d'Alba.
