This is a somewhat vinious wine that should probably be drunk with food rather than as an aperitif. Very complex set of flavours, starting with a nice creamy feel in the mouth. Toasty on the palate. Good acidity. Overall, this is another very interesting alternative to the grand marques at in my view a modest price. Worth seeking out.
Loved this. Crackling energy driven by an intense purity of green apple, asian pear and minerality. Acidity keeps it all in balance. It simply explodes from the glass. I love how pure this champagne is...no idea of the dosage used but it must be very, very low...and it works wonderfully. Really cleanses the palate. Enjoy this now and for many years to come!
Big citrus and gaseous burst on the nose. The palate has fruit to spare, chiefly fugi and green apple with lively acidity, minerals, and toast. Finishes with good power and length. Excellent champagne in the early part of its window, and a solid buy at the price point.
