  A Bordeaux like nose with dark plums, leather, spice from the deftly applied oak.
  Inky, impenetrable hue.
  A surprisingly elegant and lean (thin, considering oak and tannins? time will tell) mid palate where the freshness dominates.
  At the end, the mouth coating trademark tannins of the tannat grape.
  Not sure this will cellar for twenty plus years, but it is early days for sure, and the wine begs for a a fat, juicy, steak, grilled to perfection and some herb salted French fries.
  There's a tangy, savoury finish to this that keeps me interested.
