  • Young but beautiful! Sweet fruit and smoke. Good taste and nice acidity and bitterness. Will improve but so good as a youngster.

  • Very nice surprise I must say!
I’ve had this wine from other vintages, and it’s keeps showing better and better with Nicole’s work coming along nicely.
Was served a notch to cold, but as it slowly warmed up in the glass it opened up more and more.
    Very young and very Vosne.
Asian spices & baking spices on the nose, with licorice and anis, and some nice herbs showing, such as thyme and some mint.
Hints of oak, but not obtrusive or over the top.
Deep and fine palate, with dense and dark fruit, fine tannins and nice and stony minerals showing, together with a touch of green herbs.
Rather tight and young at this stage, but with great potential and good balance.
This needs time in the cellar, but my guess are that we might be looking at a really good wine in the making!
Clearly another step in the right direction for the domaine, who in my opinion has showed better and better in later years, and rapidly have become somewhat of a little favorite too me.
91+ for tonight’s performance, with good potential for a few more points in about 10 years time.

  • A little licorice/anise note, light spice, darker fruits, soy; silky, light tannins, good balance. At the domaine.
