Open approx 90 minutes before serving. Starts with lots of five spice and bright red fruit that come across as unmistakably Vosne. The fruit comes across as slightly underripe with a slightly rough edge on the palate, which improved with more time in glass. Moderate intensity and density, that if served blind would have made me thought very good 1er Cru, not Grand Cru.
Classic, silky red fruits with a touch of subtle spice; fresh, floral, (my notes say "fresh dewy meadow" to be poetic); perfumey; silky, well balanced with medium concentration and medium fine tannins; slight strawberry/minerality in the finish. One of the highlights of the trip for me. Tasted at the domaine with Nicole.
