Present form a colleague. Decanted about for 30 minutes. South African burn rubber with nice red fruits. Big fruit with good tannins and a surprising dollop of raspberry in the middle. Good length, A nice bottle, thank you Tim.

Had it now another time. Very very veeeeery very good! So much (and more) of everything you can expect from a barrel aged Western Cape Blend at that price. The nose is fantastic and the taste is absolutely convincing. For 16€/21$ a highly recommended companion for a good dinner or solo-drinking. See my previous note. Edit: Decanting for 30 mins might do good.

Really really awesome! This one has a lot of everything: bouquet, taste, texture and complexity. A very good wine, maybe even a superb one. Haven't had better (but equally good) blends for 15€ (21$). Dark ruby red with brown rims. 35% Pinotage, 30% Shiraz, 30% Cabernet, 5% Mourvedre. 14.5% alc. Rich and superintense nose with strong notes of ripe plums, dark berry jam, mocha and hints of wood, herbs, nuts and banana, not alcoholic at all. 92 p. Strong taste - full, round, smooth, intense, present tannins and acidity but well balanced, long finish, excellent texture, dry but fruity, supertasty! 90+ p. The 2009 is absolutely super. Decanting brings the Cabernet a little more forward, but this is optional in my opinion. I had a glass of the 2007 vintage some weeks before and this one might have been even a little better than the 2009. This wine definitely has aging potential. Will buy 2009 as long as available and keep some bottles on stock. Give it a try, it's worth it!
