I was expecting more from this wine, given it's "limited edition" status. The nose was classic cabernet; graphite, tar, cedar and dark fruit - really quite a nice nose, in fact. On the palette, however, the wine fell short, even after decanting for a few hours. I wanted more body and mouthfeel and the fruit was very muted. Not bad, but there are better.

Sat on this one for 3yrs. Quite good with a tenderloin steak marinated in balsamic vinegar for 2 days.

Huge initial burst of fruit on the nose. Cherries, dark red fruits. Worked well with prime steaks. Much bigger and stronger than it was a year ago.

An uninspiring wine with little flavor or body. Rather acidic with tannis to curl your tongue.
