big cedar nose with sage and red plum fruit, raspberry/strawberry-thing going on but also black berry - rusty nails, cinnamon, mint, dark cherry, balsamico, earth and a hint of dark chocolate, very leathery, smoky and chewy at the moment.. pain grille, dust, pencil shavings - good balance and acidity. mild, elegant and very smooth habana cigar box aftertaste
if opened now decant for at minimum 3 hours..it will loose its tannin grip, powerfull acidity and become more complex and spicier..
long aftertaste - this is how a bordeaux should be like!
Merlot dominant, something like 70/30 with Cab Franc. Nose is soft, promises smooth road ahead, dark cherry, chocolate, dried black plum. Palate is big in fruit, adds some earth tones of woody must, damp forest, really nice example of Old World merlot. Acidity and structure nice as well.
