Didn't love this bottle. I have been breaking open many of my early 2000s JPV Cabs lately. Many of them exceeded expectations by a mile. This bottle was past its prime -- not much acidity or structure left. It was ok, but it should have been consumed a few years ago.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry, blackberry, black currant (cassis) and strawberry jam. It tastes like strawberry and blueberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
- Brick color with medium forming legs. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of raspberry, strawberry and black currant with a light/medium body. Satin-Like texture with a short finish - Wine is slightly past it's peak. Time to drink up.
