  Quite complex nose of dark fruit, nuts, ink and plum. Some depth.
  Ultraconcentrated, extracted, very full palate. Young, generous, tannic, massive. Modern winemaking with extra everything - extraction, new oak, low yields. But also lacking a sense of place.

  Lucknam Park, Park Restaurant 2* Michelin.
  Top flight Malbec. Hint of truffle; brûlée black berries and smoke. In the mouth the ripe fruit was balanced by a classic sour element and fine grained tannic grip. Very racy and sophisticated - not at all heavy.
  Complex and in my view a wine just hitting its stride. Now and for perhaps another 4 years. 91+

  Full bodied, dark purple almost black color. Dark berry, coffee, spice, and a brambly nose. Palate of dark chocolate, black coffee and a mix of black and red berries, underscored with nice earthy component. Bold and structured with a still noticeable tannic backbone, but not obtrusive; a style which suits my personal tastes. Very long, slightly dry finish.
