Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Variety is actually ROUPEIRO, an lesser known Portuguese white.
Its interesting that this is reputed to be a varietal to drink early, yet was held for some time by a wine merchant.
I would agree this wine is past its time = although hat could be as much an issue of storage as the wine itself.

The color is golden, only just beginning to turn caramel, as it will as it ages more.
    Nose of almond, honeysuckle
On the palate: dried herbs, canned apricots.
