Not the smoothest but a fair representation of a WV pinot. The typical sweet herbal nose is present. A hint of cut green grass is showing too. The color is on the lighter side but in the mouth there is nothing delicate. It has a firmness with cranberry/cherry fruit and solid new oak influence. This can celler for a few more years and still be quite enjoyable.

Translucent garnet in the glass, nose and palate both are very restrained and non descript. Faint flavor of cranberry and cherry but overall missing the character that makes Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, well, Oregon Pinot Noir. QPR is way out of whack on this one and we will not revisit.

Minimal nose and flavor. Short finish, thin body. Not sour like a bad pinot noir but lacks substance. An average wine by the glass in an average restaurant. Drinkable but not memorable.
