Short decant yielding very little sediment. The nose offered up red and dark red fruits, with a touch of blue. All of these followed on the palate along with spice, juicy acidity, some drying tannins, and a touch of alcohol on the finish. Maybe the wine would have benefitted from more air, but there was not that much development in the glass. Usually a good GS, but not the best showing from this bottle. Should last a couple of years -- try a longer decant.

What's left of the American Dream (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Biscuit over sour red berries, green notes and touches of green peppercorn. Sour and spicy with tight, chalky, drying tannins on the mid palate over sour red berries. Nah.
