Delicious ripe and sweet red berry to black berry flavour. It's very easy to guess it's a Monastrell wine in blind tasting. Full and round body. Very smooth and comfortable. So easy to drinking and easy to pair with different types of food.

Nice interesting dark fruit nose including brown sugar, black pepper, and other things I just can't make out. Decent body, with initially strong tannins that mellowed out quite fast. I can actually taste how the Syrah & Tempranillo come through on it, which really makes me enjoy it more. Paired quite well with my burger topped with caramelized onions, sweet green pepper, & baby bella deglazed with some of this wine.

(Bodegas Balcona Partal 1) #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very interesting; pork & cheese; baked strawberries; hints of black pepper; a little hot; TASTE-great tannin structure; Wow - big fruit; well balanced; the fruit is very fresh; like a strawberry w/ black pepper baked in the oven; like a New World CdP; a little Crème Fraîche on the back-end; very well-made; reminds me of an imaginary blend of Joseph Phelps Cab & Guigal CdP; it's a little hot & New World for me, but many would love this; JM-90; GV-89

Dense and full bodied. Nice layered flavors. Initial funk blows away after 30 mins. Unique flavor profile with strong blackberry and blueberry notes.

Smooth and velvety, as the tannins have definitely subsided. Nice ripe fruit with a little menthol. Great food wine.
