  Wine recorked in 2005 at the Chateau, not sure what the process was for re-filling.
  It started very weirdly, aromas and nose showing something off, probably a sulphur derivative... didn't decant, let it rest in the glass and it started opening up and losing the disappointing nose to a more welcoming mix of berries and leather notes. Color was a strong brown with red and still strong legs. Once in the glass it also decayed relatively quickly, so it had to be drank within 5-10 minutes of reaching its peak.
  In the end it was fantastic, showing temperament and complexity even after 92 years. Fantastic wine! (we drank it with a Conseillante 89, which was a high bar, and the Siran 26 held its ground like a champ).
