  Last bottle. NYE dinner with pan seared duck breast & roasted vegetables. Complex but delicate; beginning to thin but hanging in there. Delicious. If you have this wine drink up!

  Unfortunately this was good but far from great. Some classic DRC textural features although somewhat muted. Cork soaked through so I suspect some heat damage along the journey. Polished red fruit, moderate spice, some earth notes. We drank every drop but, alas, I know what aged DRC can be and this was just not it.....

  Some dried rose, but more 2nd and tertiary aroma like sous-bois, dried leaves, and tea. After aeration more Vones spice. High tanning and acidity give it a good structure and energy, but over all not that deep and concentrated. Surprisingly not big but slightly lean to me. 07789
