  • on the PnP it tasted very acidic / lifted with med minus body... highly suspect air will flesh it out a bit... will try to remember to add to this note?!?

  • couple hour decant and this was awesome -- mostly acid / lift / red fruit, but with a healthy dose of richness / body too... lovely, two hour decant then drank great for another two hours, no green meanies at all, not even a hint

  • NR as my attention was occupied... but remember this started off well with bright / lifted acidic red fruit, no greenies all night, but then later it faded just a bit and wasn't as pleasing... hmmm (wish I had paid more attention)... I'll guess I would have given this a 92 on the pnp and then a 91 two or three hours later

  • I just don’t like that Grivot green stem on the palate. The nose was decent Vosne smoke meat and ripe fruit but again not spectacular. The Lachaux Ech from same vintage was far superior for me. I prefer Grivot’s villages Vosne to this ! this was very disappointing and hope it’s an off bottle. One left to go but not in a hurry to try.

  • A knock-out nose of ethereal perfumed high-order Burgundy, expressing the powerful but feminine side of the top crus. A wonderful fusion of mid-red berries, wafts of forest air and sweet flowers. A nice dark red hue followed by a fairy well-resolved palate of mixed but darker fruit-- considerable dark cherry, rasperry, along with lingonberry, moist soil, and a velvet sense. Missing is a bit more complexity that will arrive in time. Not quite the heights that this can reach, but wonderful already with a decant of 45 minutes. 93-94
