This is drinking surprisingly well with a mix of Indian spices, graphite, black cherry and tobbacco. Sillky mouthfeel with firm tannins and just a hint of sage.

With tri-tip, baked spuds, baby peas, spinach salad. Very nicely balalanced but failed to give it air time. Needs an hour or so in the decanter prior to dinner. Small amount of sediment present. Good deep ruby color, good nose, but quiet... needs a little time to air.

Not as bad as you might think but not worth drinking. Died many years ago...

Earthy and somewhat muted. Some interesting spice notes, but other than that, not a very exciting wine.
