Blue hill stone barns 2nd bottle. Delicious straight out of bottle…, silky, complex berries and graphite. Some wood but not too much tertiary. As others have noted, feels shy and more chambolle

From 75cl, perfect cork. Decanted one hour, continued to improve until final drop 2 hours later. Herbal (rosemary, grass) scent; exemplary villages red CdN Burgundy palate: dilute, but with bright acidity, medium-red fruit, well-chewed hay/grass and some residual tannins towards the shortish finish. 50€ paid; current auction price 50% higher than that. If you have the money, then it's probably worth it; if you don't then no worries, there are literally thousands of wines out there at a third of the price which would provide similar pleasure... 89(-90)P

Strawberries and cream with earth notes somewhat underdone for a Gevrey and more reminiscent of a softer Chambolle Musigny. Silky smooth structure with well incorporated tannins. Matched a duck confit to perfection.

Weak given past experience with Denis Mortet. Acidic, not much depth at 7 years of age, no sous bois, very little of a savoury nature. Dull and disappointing. Will be hunting down older vintages if this is the direction Arnaud is going.
