Orange-ish red. Red berries, sweet earth, something "fresh" like talcum, hint of incense after a while. Medium light body. Starts sweet, finishes sour. First made me think or Dolcetto, but piquant finish. Nice, and nice with spaghetti carbonara w caramelized onions.
grape = Pelaverga di Verduno, AKA Pelaverga Piccolo

Peppery, soily, subtle yet expressive nose. Clean, even palate that is acid driven being almost sharp but nicely balanced. A wine geek's dinner wine and a damn nice one.
