This is really good for its level. Elegant red fruit, perfume, quite high acidity and reasonably complex. A very pure and clean Bourgogne with a very good balance.

Barda & Haisma (Picture, London): Light, bright, vibrant. Serious but fun. In a good place at the moment. Certainly a little more expansive from the off than the 12, though ultimately that is the better wine. ***1/2

01 Alsace and 11 Red Burgundy for work crowd (Home): Quite light and bright. Good Pinot typicity, cherry to strawberry fruit. Bright if not complex finish. ***

Mark Haisma Tasting (Magdalen Restaurant, London) (Magdalen, Tooley Street, London SE1): The tannins have smoothed out a little (or perhaps there's less CO2) since I last tasted this; less raspy. The alcohol seems a little marked though.
