This is choreographed fruit, flavour, tannins and alcohol. Superb grapes matched with superb winemaking. You immediately know this is quality from the first sip. Drink it, cellar it or do both, you can't go wrong. Great value for money.
Modern style, young, deep, dark violet color. Approachable tannins, deep juicy red and dark fruit, balanced with bright acidity. I would love to taste this in 5 years, to see how it evolves. I’ve not had much patience lately. Not as complex as the Bin 389.
(Tasting at Magill Estate) Ruby red in glass, with a deep, unctious perfume: spicy, christmas spice and garrigue, along with minty green capsicum. Sweet and textural, yet more gumdrops, showing beautiful concentration and focus, ending with sweet tea leaf on a very long finish. Too young. Try in 10 years.
