Good blend of texture and exotic fruit. Mouth coating with a medium plus body. More interesting as it warmed to a light chill off room temperature. Creamy and slightly waxy in a good way. Stone fruit flavors and on the nose. Nice balance and long finish
It's been a while since I drank an Aubert chard. It's different now because the monotonous flavor of lime is gone and so is the cloudiness. The favor now is a bit more complex featuring pineapple and lemon. It's very intense, very focused very fresh, very focused and the oak is in check. Far from a tropical fruit bomb despite the predominate flavors and clearly California impression.
