  Really interesting nose, quite different from the typical rose nose of stone fruits, cream, and grasses. Instead this one opens with rosewater perfume, and flows into mild watermelon and bubble gum. The nose also seems hard to pin down, shifting and sometimes offering up honey and grass as well.
  
  I wish I could say the mouth delivers as much intrigue. Medium-minus acidity here, which is not great, but really just an unpleasant, funky, and uniform bitterness. Rose often has a bitter finish to it that I'd consider a flaw, but the bitterness here more weaves throughout the whole mouth. Not a lot of complexity.
  
  Love the interesting nose, but not a lot more going on unfortunately. It delivers well-enough for being just under $10, I guess, but isn't a great or even particularly good wine. Will update if air changes the mouth. Edit: this did mellow out a bit with air, but is still very one-dimensional.
  
  Drink now.

  Very nice - light, bracing, stawberry and light cherry fruit - low alcohol and pretty quaffable. Not quite up to some of the Provence roses' but this is good and for the money, very good.
