Aromas of blackberry, plum and herbs. The flavors show black cherry, blackberry, licorice, earth and herbs. Fruit-forward, not quite as much structure as my last bottle but still complex/tasty. Good though the lack of structure drops it below 90 and makes me recommend it be consumed by its 5th birthday (end of 2016).
Still very similar to last notes on 2/4/14. Not to clone Bellissimo's note below but I agree that little has changed although there is far less tannin so drink up now or within the next year. This is the base bottling after all. I like most of my Carlisle wines around 3-4 years from vintage with base bottlings even less age. Still a great QPR at $20/bt and 90+ points.
