Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Also leaner styled, but with more structure vs Haut Doix just tasted. Moderate depth. Probably better in a few years, but best as a medium-term drinker.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Starts with accessible, fun red fruit that I truly enjoy. More structure comes through from middle to finish, which may provide longevity, but might also stay rougher than I'd prefer.
Knightsbridge 2011 Burgundy Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Less reductive than most of the other Groffier cuvees tasted today, this has a good cross-section of ripe red and black fruit, spice hints throughout, firm middle to finish. Also good.
Groffier Tasting, Mostly 2011s with Some Older Gems (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Tasting. Black and red cherry flavors and aromas. slightly more dense and firm than the Haut Doix, but not quite as elegant or balanced.
