  • Surprisingly better than I expected. Bought it because it was on sale at a 25% discount and I was curious what a supermarket label wine could be like. Well, this one had bouquet, body and a long finish. A neat little mixture of butter, oak and citrus, if it had more than a touch of complexity, it would have rated much higher. As it was, it was a nice compliment to the fish stew we had for dinner.

  • There just was not anything to this wine. It was basically a very light nearly colorless gold. The legs were fast and it had very little bouquet. I was afraid it was too cold and let it sit out to warm up and the change in temperature had very little affect. I could detect a little fruit like Pear, and Apple. The body was very light. The wine had a fairly smooth texture, but the finish was nearly nonexistent- as short as any wine I have had. I would like to try another bottle to see if was any better since it was their premium chardonnay, but only if I can get it a lot less. There are a whole lot of Chardonnays out there for $20 that are much better.
