PnD let air for 1hr. Dark garnet purple with plum rim. Clay plum cherry porcini and Parmesan rind on the nose. Medium weight with ripe grippy cherry skin and black team tannins. Nice fruit mineral and umami notes on the palate. Vandiner nailed it in fewer words.

A fragrant blend with earthy and floral qualities that I sometimes get off of Merlot - liquorice and rose petal in particular. A most elegant drinking wine, fruit forward dark cherry - medium to full bodied and medium acidity. Drinks classical but not traditional. It held up to my steak au poivre but I feel that it is best suited to lamb or with parmesan cheese...I am also thinking Slovaki!
