Extremely acidic but still has some fruit and peppery flavors hanging on. Based on the acid it can be held but I don’t see the renegade getting any better.

(Archery Summit Pinot Noir Renegade Estate Dundee Hills) A moderately aromatic, complex wine with cola, cinnamon stick, red and black fruit, incense, bay leaf, black licorice, and sweet spices. The palate is rich and full but without excess alcohol to weigh it down with chewy, somewhat wood-driven tannins and mouthwatering acids leading to an extended, mocha-filled finish. Give this one some time in the cellar to see it at its best. 100% Pinot Noir (Dijon 777, 667, ASW2). Aged 10 months in French oak (48% new). 13.5% alcohol. Sample provided by winery.

Good wine makers make good wine even in off years. Much better the second day. Decant.
