  • Second of two bottles purchased. This bottle had a stained cork. Decanted the wine for one hour. We had the wine with a meal. It was smooth and pleasurable. Good wine.

  • The cork was completely soaked and leaking some wine. We decanted the wine for 45 minutes. It got a forest floor aspect to it, with jammy red fruit, strawberry cream candy and strawberry yoghurt. The wine was round and extremely nice to drink. After the first sip we were sure that we would not leave the dinner table before finishing the bottle. Maybe this was not the most complex Burgundy, but it was pretty tasty and extremely pleasant to drink. I would buy it again. 88+

  • Brought this bottle home from a trip with the Wine Collective to Burgundy. At home I noticed the level was rather low so I decided to open it quickly. Luckily my fears were not justified. Decanted for two hours before drinking. At first a balanced but modest nose with some red fruit coming through. The palate was excellent: a core of red fruit, layered and complex. Mature but not old. Over a dinner with lamb chops, the wine gained momentum and the nose actually became grand. Enjoyed every sip of this.

  • Deep ruby. Game, earth, leather and black fruit on the nose with a floral top note. Lean and a bit chewy in the mouth with black fruits, earth and spice flavors. Tannins are currently overshadowing the fruit. Finish is a bit course and blunt. May be an odd bottle as the cork was soaked through.
