Light ruby. Aggressively green, menthol. This shows up much less in the mouth, where the wine is light with a pleasant sappiness and red fruit. Fairly open and loosely structured. In the end, not bad, but tough to get past the aromatics, which I fear will only become more exaggerated.

Light ruby. Lovely scorched earth notes and a slight bit of funk. Light, low acidity, supple, earthy, discrete red fruit. Good length. Typical Gevrey style and very nice.

Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2014 Day 2: Côte de Nuits 3-18-13: Bertrand's last vintage before the domaine was sold to Morey Tawse and Mark Fincham took over. Palate is acidic, but with a supple texture; acid roses, tart cherry.
