1855 Pinot Noir Tasting (1855): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Short thin legs. Nose is clean, light intensity, with aromas of fresh red fruit. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol, low tannins, light body. Light flavor intensity, with flavours of red cherry. Short finish. Thin and like dilute grape-juice. Acceptable quality for quaffing over a simple meal. Drink now. Not suitable for ageing.
