  All in all, interesting to taste these, yet on the strength of this, no rush to try again. The 3 bottles having been recorked at the end of the evening, will be sampled over the next 2-3 days to see if talk of extended aeration as a miracle 'cure' has any effect!

  Complete mixed bag at the table. My wife hated it and asked if I thought it was flawed. Notes of honey and wet stones without being even the slightest bit sweet.. If I tased it blind I doubt I waould have called it Chenin. Well made wine that got better and more interesting over the 2 hours it was opened. I would be tempted to buy more for a long term experiment. Baumard is more my style from this property.

  Softer than most Savennieres, with ripe apple fruit touched with a hint of beeswax and apricots. A bit of chalky minerality on the finish. Pleasant enough wine, but without the acidic zing I look for in Savennieres.
