This wine is in a really sweet spot right now. Fascinating, exotic nose of ripe plums, rhubarb and smoky zin fruit. Smooth but vibrant on the palate with a fairly long finish. Mazzoni has become one of my favorite ATP wines on account of its somewhat Old World personality, and this vintage is particularly strong. I'll probably consume my last bottle over the next 12 months, but I could see this aging for another 3-4 years.
