Drinking phenomenally right now. Right out of the bottle. Pleasant surprise as I hadn't expected much. Very nice depth. Not too overpowering. Nickey balanced with food. Dark fruit and tannins. I wish I had more bottles though likely not too much left for aging.

Unremarkable for the most part. Not bad, just have had better in prior vintages from this entry level Cab. Varietally correct, just nothing stands out. Almost too mellow.

Cloudy dark purple to violet rim; sweet tart dark fruit, dusty, boxwood, cassis, hints at green pepper; classic New World Cab, more gentle structure but food flavor.

(Milbrandt Vineyards Traditions Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) A stylistic departure from previous vintages with the oak dialed way back. This is to this wine’s advantage. The aromas bring notes of black currant, cherry, and fresh from the garden herbs with a distinctive Washington Cabernet profile. The palate is medium bodied, supple in feel with lightly grainy tannins. A spot on wine that delivers easy drinking enjoyment at the right price. 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. Katherine Leone, Clifton Bluff, Wahluke Slope, Northridge, and Clifton vineyards. 13.5% alcohol. 16,400 cases produced. Sample provided by winery. Recommended.

Ho Hum.
Better Washington State Cabs at this price point, like Columbia Crest Horse Heaven Hills.

- Purple color. It's somewhat balanced with a medium body. Round texture.
