Soft floral nose, fairly muted. Sweet red fruit on palate, with a lengthy finish. Juicy. Candied. Raspberry; Even can taste the seeds! Vibrant. Nightly acidic. Medium to full style. Good, esp for the price.

The first sip of this had a jarring sharpness, kind of stewed and hot, swillish really. But after some air it seemed to be more inline with that juicy strawberry fruit I associate with Grenache, if not still a little hot. Not sure if it just really need to breath, or my palate adjusted, but it was fine for the bulk of it.

Muted at first, but once open for 30 min or so the fruit starts to show. Vibrant strawberry and raspberry notes. Playful acidity, and persistent at that. Really long finish, with a little ashy tannin, too. Hint of Bright young Spanish style. I am still learning CA styles, but if this is typical Paso Robles, I enjoy it.
