  • 12.0% - served at 14C - Clear, light ruby / clean, med+ intensity - bing cherries, cassis, earthy, wet leather, spicy (clove) / dry, med+ acidity (lemon like), light body, low tannin, med intensity, med to short length.

I had this at the restaurant with rotisserie a few weeks ago and wanted to retry that short maceration Bourgueil at home. This bottle is even better than the last one as there is more fruit (less funky barnyard). There so much more depth on the nose than the palate even as it gets closer to room temperature. An unpretentious vin de soif.

Excellent pairing with BBQ chicken thighs saltimbocca (parmesan & roasted tomate in the center covered with pancetta and rosemarin & sage on top).
