A delight. Came together with a 25 min decant. Nice cranberry/cherry like tart on the front end followed by candied strawberries in the mid palette, medium length finish. The huge contrast between the two made this wine interested. Medium to light body, smooth specially after the decant yet it remained sharp, a lot of finesse and delicate intensity, can probably be cellared some more. A true pinot. Great wine & QPR for the $28 I paid.

This wine has turned into an elegant example of a New World Pinot Noir. The nose shows subtle ripe red fruit, earth, and complex wood/smoke aromas -- similar on the palate, the taste is elegant ripe cherry fruit, earth and hint of smoke. Acidity is low and the finish is clean. If you are a Burgundy lover this wine breaks the preconception that California Pinots are fruit bombs. This wine is at its peak and should be drunk soon. 92++
