  From a 1.5, at a great spot. Definitely not over the hill. Tannins are integreated, complex palate with a great finish.

  The cork broke and moderate sediment in bottle for age. Purple/ garnet color, medium body, still with blue and black fruit. A long satin, sweet finish. If you have it- drink and enjoy.

  Tasty. Smooth polished presentation of fruit, acid, tannins. Great after 1 hour decant but it seemed to lose some intensity and gain an astringent note as the evening went on. Good now but may not improve.

  Really ready to drink. the Howell Mountain is great for aging.
  but this wine at 11 ish years is prime for drinking, and I think the Foley Claret really shines as an earlier drinking wine.
