Opened for the March TWF event. Purchased for $29 at Costco. Color is deep dark purple throughout. Nose of black cherry, oak and earth. Decent amount of black fruits (cherries and rasberries) on the palate, but the tannins still overpower. I still have half a bottle to revisit tonight to see if the tannins have balanced out with the fruit.

(Montes Folly (Colchagua)) Just the third vintage for this cuvée. Complex nose here. Dark, minerally, dense fruits. Fine palate, elegant balance. Firm, rounded, a sense of grip, structure, yet a refined style. Tannins show on the finish. This certainly isn't a folly. Excellent, with potential for short-term improvement.
