My last of six bottles. Quite a light and elegant pinot noir. Fairly complex on the nose with red pinot fruit, green herbs and some slightly rustic animal notes. Balanced and easy drinking. Probably at or close to its peak now.

Post Christmas Tasting (@Private location): Clear, medium ruby/garnet color. Clean, medium intense and developing nose. Very interesting, very aromatic. Smoked meat, soil, not “over oaked” as other German/Swiss Pinots. Dry, very elegant and already approachable. Joyful to drink, complex aromas with a lovely mixture of red fruits, spices and herbs that continue on the medium+ finish. Forget about Gantenbein, drink Studach! Drinks fine now, but will continue to improve over several years! One of the best Swiss Pinot I had so far.

90+ Granatrot Braucht Luft. Himbeeren,Rote Johannisbeeren,würzig. Seidig, zwischendurch leicht cremig, elegant, gute Säure, balanciert, glatte integrierteTannine.

A crowd pleaser. Fruit driven with hints of cinnamon & plum. Round on the palate. A bit vacuous imo. Not my cup of tea.
