medium ruby, clear and bright. fresh strawberry and red cherry. medium concentration and weight. silky tannins. some herbal and savoury notes, a nice Central Otago. a little unpleasant stem bitterness in finish. I'm afraid there could be something wrong with my storage environment.
IWC 2013 Gold, WA 91+, BC 90, RC 18.5-, SK 94, SIWC 2013 - Blue Gold.
Costs less than NZ30, so great QPR for a NZ pinot noir. A good everyday house pinot. Deep ruby. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry with some spice and a little tobacco leaf. Nice ripe red fruits on the palate, slightly tart. Moderate weight and length, fairly straightforward. 88.

Inviting nose - typically Central Otago - soft and smooth - drinking well now - probably lacks depth to hold for much longer.
