Not like other vermentinos that I have tried. The nose is ripe and buttery. Other community reviewers have noted a tropical element to this wine. I can agree with that. The palate is also ripe with apples and honey flavors. Very quaffable but lacks the salty typicity of other vermentinos. If I had tasted this blind, I would have quested CA chardonnay or South African chenin blanc.
Apparently not 100% vermentino, there's some nuragus in here, as well, which is one I've never heard of. Good juice, though, with crisp green apple and lemon flavors, slight saltiness (though overall not super saline relative to the average vermentino), and some nice soil and floral notes, with moderate volume and juicy acidity.
