A dark red with purple hues towards the rim, the 2010 release is true to the 'Syrah' style in which it is marketed with the wine being juicy yet savoury with plenty of structure.
The nose gives meaty blackberry and cherry that is backed by sweet cinnamon, the palate is medium bodied and has lots going on, initially there is lifted blueberry and blackberry fruit after which more savoury tannins and spicy oak take hold with a touch of powdery dark chocolate rounding out the palate.
The wine finishes with good length of drying savoury tannins. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2013-2018)

Acidic, sharp, green and vegetal with grapefruits and buttery feeling. A hint of hops emerges. 86-87 straight from the bottle.
Half an hour later it's more of a round buttery taste with a soft and pleasant nose. It has put on some weight and become decently concentrated, added some length and has less of a green hue. Well balanced and some blueberries on the finish.

Relatively simple, medium bodied. May be a little thin.
