As presented by Francois Perrin... (Chicago, Illinois): 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah. 90% Stainless and 10% Foudre. a total o 400-500ha in the appellation in total. L'Andeol comes from a small 2ha plot, protected from the Mistral.
more red raspberry coming after the darker aspect to the 2012 Coudoulet. fruitier, and less garrigue. has a Crisco-like waxiness to things, that is also, found to a larger degree in the Coudoulet 2012.

Famille Perrin tasting event (Brussels): Ripe nose with black pepper, chocolate, figs and some berry jam. Great concentration on the palate but nevertheless very fresh, finishing with a decent amount of grainy tannins. Crowd pleaser.

On the nose there's black cherry, herbal liqueur, vanilla & black liquorice ~ The palate is ripe & round with flavors of fleshy plums, menthol, leather, cherry cough syrup & strawberry ~ Ripe fruit, modern style & delicious

Fresh & light without the density and complexity of better vintages. Past it's peak.
